Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Hookspotter (a NuVox product) at hookspotter.app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
The service
Hookspotter analyzes audio files you upload and returns ranked short-form video snippets, captions, and metadata. Output is generated by a combination of audio DSP and large language models. We do not guarantee accuracy or commercial success of the recommendations.
Your content
You retain all rights to audio you upload. By uploading you grant us a limited license to process the audio for the purpose of running the analysis pipeline and delivering results to you. You may revoke this license at any time by deleting the song from your account.
You agree not to upload audio that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, or right of publicity. If we receive a credible takedown notice (see the DMCA policy), we may remove the offending content.
Plans and billing
- The free plan allows 1 song / month with watermarked output. Pro is $14/mo for 20 songs / month with no watermark. One-shot is $7 per song with no subscription.
- Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are not automatic. If something genuinely broke for you, email hello@nuvox.app and we'll make it right.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you don't have the right to.
- Reverse-engineer the service or scrape it programmatically beyond the API quota.
- Use the service to harass or impersonate others.
- Bypass the watermark or quota systems.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. On termination we delete your data within 30 days (account info, uploads, generated outputs).
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is". We don't warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free analysis, or that the snippets we suggest will go viral. Use your own judgment about what to release.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
